Watercolour Painting Workshop

About the workshop

This workshop is designed for anyone who would like to explore watercolour: the white of the paper, delicate colour and transparent washes.

What you will learn

Discover the main characteristics of watercolour and learn how to build a painting step by step.

Watercolour techniques

Transparency is central to watercolour. Colours diluted with water allow light to pass through the layers, giving paintings a translucent quality.

Fluidity and spontaneity

Paint moves with the water, creating soft transitions between colours and tones. Explore the spontaneous effects that make this medium distinctive.

Personalised guidance

With a maximum of ten participants, the workshop offers ongoing guidance and time to ask questions.

A participant’s experience

“A wonderful space for anyone who wants to learn and develop their painting techniques. An informal learning environment without judgement or prejudice of any kind. The focus is on each person’s aesthetics, motivation and desire to create.”

Helena Xinha Caiado
Translated from Portuguese.
